So, as I've been posting all over the Internet, I'm having some trouble finding an agent or publisher for my novel, The Shadows. The most common piece of criticism I hear is that it's too complex and difficult to follow. It all seems straightforward enough to me, but then again, I've had the story in my head for ten years.
